Gorgeous Groom Guide Tips
Dressing Up
A bride knows how hard it is to find the perfect wedding dress. Lend your guy a helping hand in finding the right tuxedo by following these tips to find the perfect suit:
Know what you are looking for. Having a certain style and color tuxedo or suit in mind will help speed up the process.
Remember that you can include your wedding colors into a tuxedo with the tie, shirts or vests.
Take advice from the professionals at the store.
Find out if any deals or specials are given to the groom if all of his groomsmen get their suits from the same store. Many stores offer the grooms tuxedo free if the rest of the party is renting or buying from the same place.
Incur about the suit accessories, such as the tie, shoes, vest, etc. Ask if these items are included in the price.
Find out about late-return fees.
Ask if alterations or adjustments are complimentary with the purchase price.
All of these questions will help you and your groom to narrow down the choice of not only the store you will purchase from, but the tuxedo style as well.

Hair, Hair, Everywhere!
If your groom to be has unruly eyebrows, iinvest in a little eyebrow grooming before the big day. Having his brows groomed and shaped can make a positive difference in the way he looks. One session a week prior to the wedding is all he’ll need to temporarily get rid of a uni-brow. Let him know that no one will notice he got his eyebrows groomed, but everyone will notice how nice he looks.
Another thing to think about when it comes to unruly hair is back hair. Back hair is extremely common among men. For your wedding and the honeymoon, it might be a good idea to have your guy head to a professional esthetician to have it removed. If he feels comfortable enough, you can even take it a step farther and schedule him a chest and stomach waxing as well. Both you and your groom to-be will be happy with the results.

Get Your Man a MANicure
Men are often apprehensive of going into a beauty salon to get a manicure or pedicure. They picture sitting in a pink robe and having their fingernails and toenails painted bright colors. In actuality, a manicure and pedicure is not only a relaxing service for a woman or man, but it helps prevent nail damage and overgrown cuticles. A typical man’s manicure or pedicure includes a warm soak in water, massage, overgrown cuticle removal, cutting and filing of the nail, nail treatment and a buffing to bring out the shine. It will relax him and make his hands look nice enough to show off his new wedding ring. So next time you schedule an appointment for yourself, ask if he would come along.

He Can Do It
You have probably dreamt about your wedding for years. Although, grooms may have given it a few weeks thought, they do want to be involved in the wedding planning. This is their wedding too, so let them help. Here are some tasks that your groom can be involved in, without stepping on your toes:
Cake tasting. Let him help you what flavors would be best.
Stuffing the invitation envelopes.
Menu sampling. What guy doesn’t love food? Bring your future husband along for any menu samplings.
Rallying the groomsmen together for pre-wedding events. The groomsmen are his friends, so let him worry about them.
Picking out the tuxedos. You wouldn’t want your future hubby picking out your wedding dress, so let him pick out what he’ll be wearing.
Planning the honeymoon. This is his vacation too so let him help plan your honeymoon.
Music. The groom is bound to have a few songs he wants to hear.
These are great tasks for the groom to handle. They are things that are not on the VIP list of wedding planning, and trust us..he can do it!

Men's Haircare
On top of his regular haircuts, getting a haircut prior to the wedding will ensure that you look pulled together and prepared for your big day. Make sure he gets his pre-wedding haircut three to five days before the wedding. This will ensure that it looks fresh and he won’t have any re-growth on the back of his neck.
In addition to a haircut, give him the option of adding in a few highlights for the wedding. Subtle highlights can make him look tanner and give dimension to his hair in photos. Just like a bride, If the groom plans on having his hair highlighted or colored before the wedding, be sure to experiment with colors several months before the wedding. Altering the color of his hair should not be a last minute decision. Whatever he decides to do with his hair, make sure that he gets it done within the week of the wedding for best results.

Fresh Faced Groom
Your honey may notice you heading to the spa for facials -- why not invite him to come along and get a facial himself. A facial is a great way to deep cleane and maintain the health of the skin by exfoliating excess dead skin cells. He will come out of a facial looking like a renewed and fresh faced version of himself. You should both plan on getting a few facials before the big day for best results. If he is only able to get a facial once before the wedding, make sure to time it about two weeks before the wedding. You want to get it this far in advance in case of any redness or irritation that may occur.

Tan Him
Getting a tan before your wedding just adds a little bit of color and glow to the bride and groom. Options for safe bronzing are to use a self tanner or get a spray tan. Most tanning salons offer a spray tanning service now, so it’s easier than ever to get a safe tan. If he uses a self tanner at home, help the guy out and make sure to wash your hands thoroughly after to avoid orange palms. He can also get a tan by mowing the lawn, playing outdoor basketball, or going to the beach (all without a shirt of course). This will give him the color he wants and give you a great view! And if he prefers to tan outside, make sure he does so safely. Apply a broad spectrum sunblock to any exposed areas whenever he engages in outdoor activities.

Professional Shaves
A guy’s version of a spa treatment would be the professional shave. Getting an old fashioned barber shave is a great option for the groom and the groomsmen to do the morning of the wedding. The barber will apply a rich and foamy shaving cream and give him a very close shave. A hot towel is wrapped around his face and then a refreshing aftershave is applied. It may not sound like the most luxurious spa treatment to you, but this is a very relaxing treatment that is perfect for the groom on his wedding day. Have him take his groomsmen with him and treat them to a shave as part of their groomsmen gift.

Shape Up
Although brides and grooms have different exercise expectations, they both want to look amazing on their big day. Have your groom use these tips to look his best through better, worse and beyond:
Make sure he eats plenty of lean proteins like chicken and fish to give him energy and strength for training.
Exercise with your future husband. Exercising with each other can help you both stay on track.
Make sure he stays away from starchy carbs like mashed potatoes, chips and crackers when he’s munching.
Have him give his muscles some rest and relaxation. Working out three to four days per week should be sufficient. If he wants, he can do some low-impact cardio, like walking around the neighborhood with you on his off days.
Don’t let him give you the excuse that there is no time to exercise. Even 20 minutes a day is better than nothing. Both of you should try to fit in exercise as often as you can.

Loosen Up
Brides aren’t the only ones who have to deal with the stress of planning a wedding. Grooms often go through the same stress. Help your hubby to-be relieve stress with these tips:
Go for a jog.
Play a game of tennis with each other.
Get him to watch a sports game with the guys.
Try a kickboxing class at the gym.
Plan a poker night for just him and the groomsmen.
Make dinner at home together.
Have the groom to-be get the groomsmen together for a game of golf.
Any of these activities will help him (and you) to relieve stress and tension. Try suggesting one of these activities or an activity of his choosing regularly to stay calm and collected throughout the wedding planning process.
